VOLUNTEER
Volunteers donate their time and expertise so more money raised can go straight to our clients. We have ongoing needs for childcare, administrative help and community service projects.
There are many different ways to volunteer with us
Ranging from short-term opportunities to ongoing commitments.
We are also always on the lookout for individuals willing to offer their expertise. Whether it’s a potential seat to serve on our Board of Directors, or joining one of our marketing, fund development, event or other committees, we would love to hear from you.

Projects
We frequently have special projects that require volunteers. Past projects have included cleaning carpets, sanitizing toys, and building shelves. Contact us if you have a special project in mind.
Childcare
You can make an enormous impact on a family’s life by providing in-office childcare while caregivers are in session or attending parenting classes. ChildSafe Colorado is currently looking for volunteers for both daytime and evening hours.
Office Help
Administrative volunteers can make an enormous difference helping in our office. Tasks include answering and directing phone calls, filing, organizing, and making sure all of our forms are up to date and available.

We’re searching for a few new people to round out our Board of Directors. If you have a passion for helping abused children and an interest in stewarding ChildSafe Colorado as we grow into the future, get in touch with our Executive Director Kathleen Baumgardner.

Group Volunteer Days
We are opening up the 1st Friday of each month for volunteer groups. If your company, book club, church group, or even friend groups are looking for ways to give back, let us know! Projects can be inside or outside and are perfect for groups of 4-8. Book your date below.

We have 3 types of interns at ChildSafe: Clinical, Administrative, and Organizational

Clinical
Clinical interns are Master’s-level students who provide direct services to clients while receiving supervision and earning required hours for graduation and licensure. Their work helps us serve more clients, reduce wait times, and build the skills they need for their future careers.
Administrative
Administrative interns generously support our daily work by helping with childcare, welcoming clients, answering phones, and keeping our spaces running smoothly. Their time and care ensure more resources go directly to the families we serve.
Organizational
Organizational interns support our mission through larger big-picture projects, completed over one or two semesters. They also spend time at the front desk each week, staying connected to our daily work while helping move the organization forward.
